Dweck, a researcher in Modern Psychology at Stanford University, touches upon the distinction between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset.

Can we develop our mindset?
To go from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset, one needs to possess the willingness, awareness, and great patience every step of the way.
Dweck mentioned in her book that we could achieve such change through a set of steps:
• Seek to increase self-awareness
• Replace the word “failing” with the term “learning.”
• Develop passion
• Make learning a daily habit
• Learn and accept constructive criticism
• Reward yourself
