elm, a leading provider of digital solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University, on the sidelines of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum 2025, held at the King Salman International Conference and Exhibition Center in Madinah. This MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in digital transformation, technology infrastructure development, and leveraging academic and research capabilities to support innovation and advancement in the education sector.
The scope of the partnership includes providing advisory services to the university, supporting its digital transformation initiatives, establishing and operating specialized data management offices, offering managed technology services, and developing custom digital platforms, applications, and systems. The MoU also explores opportunities to implement high-impact projects and initiatives that enhance the educational environment, as well as assess the potential of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics in delivering advanced and innovative solutions.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Prince Muqrin University by Dr. Sanaa Saleh Askool, Advisor to the University President for Programs, Scientific Research, and Innovation. Representing elm was Mr. Turki Nasser Al-Roqi, Sector Head of Urban Development and Infrastructure at elm.
On this occasion, Majid bin Saad Al-Arifi, official spokesperson and Executive Vice President of Marketing at elm, stated:

It will also support the growth of university students' human capital by providing innovative training and development opportunities that equip them with the skills and expertise needed to meet the challenges of local and global job markets. Moreover, the partnership will pave the way for diverse research and innovation opportunities in fields such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and its applications—reflecting the university's commitment to creating an advanced educational and research environment aligned with future aspirations.
