Muscat – June 22, 2025
Elm Company, a pioneer in innovative digital solutions, has announced the official opening of its new office in Muscat, marking a direct presence in the Omani market. This strategic move reflects Elm's commitment to supporting national digital transformation efforts and expanding its technological partnerships with both public and private sectors across the Sultanate.
The inauguration ceremony was held in Muscat under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and was attended by His Excellency Ibrahim bin Saad Bishan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Sultanate of Oman, along with representatives from government institutions and technology companies from both Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Through this expansion, Elm aims to deliver smart, specialized digital solutions that contribute to the realization of Oman Vision 2040, by developing innovative technological models that serve various vital sectors in the Sultanate. This step also highlights the company's confidence in Oman's attractive business environment, characterized by modern regulatory frameworks and government-led initiatives that encourage innovation and investment in the digital economy.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Majid bin Saad Al Arifi, Official Spokesperson and Executive Vice President of Marketing at Elm, stated: "The opening of Elm's office in the Sultanate of Oman represents a strategic step that reflects our strong belief in the capabilities and digital potential of this market. Through our presence, we aim to build high-value partnerships and provide tailored technological solutions that enhance government performance and promote a sustainable digital economy — delivering meaningful impact to citizens, investors, and our institutional partners alike".
Elm's successful partnerships with key Omani entities — including the Oman Investment Authority, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and the Ithca Group — have paved the way for this institutional presence, reflecting the mutual trust between Elm and its strategic partners in the Sultanate.
The new office is expected to play a key role in supporting Oman's efforts to build an advanced digital infrastructure, develop localized high-value solutions, create employment opportunities, and facilitate knowledge transfer — all of which contribute to building an innovation-driven and institutionally integrated digital future for the country.
