Elm Signs a Technical Integration Agreement with The General Syndicate of Cars

Elm, the leading digital solutions company, signed yesterday, an agreement of Technical Integration and Provision of Electronic Services with the General Syndicate of Cars, on the sidelines of the Hajj and Umrah Exhibition and Conference 2023 (Hajj Expo).


The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdulrahman bin Saad Al Jadhai, CEO of Elm, and Osama bin Abdulwahab Samakari, the Acting General Chief of the General Syndicate of Cars. Elm is proud to contribute to reflecting the honorable and civilized image of the Kingdom in serving the Two Holy Mosques and its guests by providing a wide range of innovative digital solutions, which contributed to improving the experience of pilgrims and Umrah performers during the past years. While the General Syndicate of Cars is the body responsible for arranging and organizing the transportation of the guests of the two mosques and the owner of the Transport Information Center.


This agreement provides a continuing availability of technical integration between the systems of the Hajj and Umrah Information Center and the systems of the Transportation Information Center to allow the exchange of data and the provision of services in accordance with the mechanisms approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, while providing technical support for the systems of the Transportation Information Center around the clock to receive and process requests and inquiries and solve technical problems. It also provides the necessary and relevant data, forms, and requirements, and verify the validity and accuracy of the data.


This strategic agreement is expected to lead to a significant leap in transportation services for pilgrims, visitors and Umrah performers.


It is noteworthy that providing innovative solutions for the Hajj and Umrah sector comes at the forefront of Elm's constant interest in order to achieve the aspirations of pilgrims, visitors and Umrah performers according to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The Syndicate works to provide organized transportation services for pilgrims and Umrah performers, using modern and appropriate means of transportation, in accordance with safety conditions and standards for preserving the environment. It is also working on developing operational plans to control the movement of buses related to the transportation of pilgrims and Umrah performers during the Hajj and Umrah journey, as it has transported more than 73 million pilgrims by buses since the start of its work, and it is also working to expand the provision of value-added transport services and logistic services with innovative ideas, while building reference models for the specifications and standards of transport services and the means used, and working with the competent authorities to implement their accreditation.
