Elm, the Pioneer Digital Solutions Company, has sponsored King Saud University Annual Award for Scientific Excellence for students with higher education, which was organized by the Collage of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at King Saud University.
The prize branches include the distinguished PhD dissertation, the distinguished Master’s dissertation, the distinguished Master’s Project, the distinguished PhD research paper, and the distinguished Master’s research paper. The number of applicants for the prize were 74 applicants, and 15 of them have won in many different branches.
Majid Bin Saad Al-Arifi, the spokesperson and VP of Marketing at Elm, expressed his happiness for the long-term partnership between the company and Saudi universities, which is in the spirit of Elm’s focus and core work on research, innovation and social responsibility that contribute to digital transformation and people’s lives facilitation.
Furthermore, Al-Arifi added that Elm always seeks to contribute to diversifying the economy and accelerating economic growth through digitization processes. Also, creating future opportunities and collaborating with Saudi universities to open new economic possibilities for a sustainable economy in the long term.
The Dean of the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Salman Bin Ali Al-Qahtani, pointed out that one of the objectives of this initiative is to promote scientific research quality and provide students with a supportive and stimulating environment conducive to increasing their performance and their research outputs aligned with the labor market needs.
While the Rector of Computer Science Collage for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Muna Al-Razgan, indicated that the faculty has announced this year new Master studies, which are Artificial Intelligence Master and Data Science and Information System Master.
