A strategic Alliance between Elm and Ministry of Health

He Eng. Khaled Bin AbdulAziz AlFaleh, the health minister and Dr. AbdulRahman Bin Saad AlJadhai, CEO of Elm, held a meeting last Thursday where they announced a strategic alliance to implement a comprehensive and ambitious e-health program kingdom wide. The program aims to prepare the required infrastructure to manage the health system and leverage efficiency and quality of its services. Once completed, the program will enable electronic exchange of health data promptly and effectively to improve the role of IT in patient care.
 
Dr. AbdulRahman Bin Saad AlJadhai, CEO of Elm, expressed his happiness and appreciation to MoH for giving Elm the opportunity to make this strategic alliance with the ministry for the national program “Seha-Tech”. This important program will contribute to achieve a strategic leap forward that has a positive impact on the health of MoH customers. Dr. AlJadhai explained that the most important characteristics and advantages of the proposed technical solutions are high-quality services to citizens while keeping in mind citizens' privacy. "This project," he further added "is one of the major projects that Elm is honored to work on, we feel responsible and we will work to achieve the ministry objectives, God willing".
 
On the other hand, HE Eng. Khaled Al-Faleh, the health minister, stated: “The electronic health program which will be called “Seha-Tech” is considered one of the most important and strategic programs of the ministry. The program aims to enhance MoH services, improve the quality and efficiency of its performance, through projects and initiatives carried out by the program, which depend primarily on development of MoH electronic infrastructure, integration of health facilities and a unified health record, keeping in mind privacy and confidentiality of medical information. The program also includes Modern Hospitals Management System, Central Management Systems, Medical Image Sharing and Archiving System, Electronic Health Portal for citizens and other relevant smart phones applications. The health services will be a state of the art, that will cope with the quantum leap the kingdom is having in electronic services at all government sectors". The health minister also expressed his happiness to enter this strategic alliance with a national and advanced company like Elm.
